Planning Commission

Overview

The City Planning Commission was established by City Council as provided by the Ohio Revised Code and is responsible for reviewing all site plans for permitted commercial, industrial and multifamily uses, issuing conditional zoning certificates for all conditionally permitted uses and reviewing all land subdivisions.

The Commission is a five member panel consisting of the Mayor, Director of Public Service and three citizens appointed by the mayor and meets the second and fourth Monday of each month:

Zoning Amendment

High Street Transition Business Overlay District: A low-intensity commercial overlay zoning for the High Street corridor (between Hall Street and Brouse Street) is currently under consideration by the Planning Commission.
